Meteor Orientation for Perseids in 1999

Above Orientation was separately held as same on 20th June at the NOMYC from the 68th AMOTA General Meeting. 25 participants including some junior high school students joined. Below subjects were

1. What is the Meteor Shower?: by Ms. Momiji AKIYAMA; The outline for meteor and meteor showers were explained.
2. How to Observe Meteor?: by Kenya KAWABATA; The method to observe meteors and meteor showers mainly on visual observations were shown.
3. The Guidance for Perseid Meteor Shower in 1999.: by Mr. Nobuyuki FUKUDA; Its conditions, the expected peak time and the weather forecasts were presented.
